Being to be

I wear three hats: CEO, Episcopal Priest, and Sheriff’s Deputy. This translates into a packed work week where every moment is carefully planned out. I sleep very little and constantly hustle to get the most out of my workday.

Which is why vacation is incredibly important for me. One of my favorite activities is not much activity. Out in the forest, open fire, tent and stars, lots of stars. My type-A personality gets engaged through keeping the camp going, but joyfully most of my time is spent in silence, staring at nature, breathing deeply, reading and laughing with my family.

I recalibrate, reminding myself of the importance of family, of rest and of being centered on God.

I recharge, taking the pressure off my schedule to just be.

I reengage, with my family, my hopes and dreams, what is important for me to concentrate on.

I am ready.

  1. GOD BLESS YOU & YOURS – I DO MISS ALL THE SHORT DAILY SERMONS I USED TO GET FROM YOU ON FACEBOOK WHEN YOU USED TO LIVE IN AUSTRALIA. THIS NOTE WAS A PLEASURE TO RECEIVE FROM YOU. IN THE FOLLOWING OF YESHUA, SHALOM.
