The hot weather is upon us! Despite the clima caliente, we are committed to providing the food and supplies that so many need right now. As we enter our 15th week of responding the the pandemic, our resolve remains firm on doing all we can to assist those who are struggling.
It was good to welcome Kim Hogan, Director of Finance and Human Resources to this drive through line. She worked hard, alongside our Treasurer, Tina!
We continue to provide food for the homeless and those who don’t possess a vehicle. Though the number of those walking up is lower than the number of cars, it is still significant.
Today we launched the ReSupply donation platform! This enables our Second Blessing store donors to schedule a donation pickup, send pictures of items they want to donate and fill out their tax receipt. It also enables us to send a text notification on the day of their pickup that we are en route along with a picture of the WHAM staff member and our truck. We have also added a new button to our website (see above) In the upper left center is a new “schedule a donation pickup” button. This is a link to our new ReSupply donation platform.
